Sam has always been musical, originally playing the double bass at the age of 7. He first picked up the sticks a year later going on to play side drum in the National Army Cadet Band – playing in prestigious venues from Buckingham Palace to the Menin Gate, Belgium.

Sam has always been musical, originally playing the double bass at the age of 7. He first picked up the sticks a year later going on to play side drum in the National Army Cadet Band – playing in prestigious venues from Buckingham Palace to the Menin Gate, Belgium.
Sam started his professional career aged 17 playing Percussion and Bongo’s on the club circuit all over the UK playing alongside the like of the Artful Dodger and events including HedKandi. In December 2013, Sam made his first TV appearance playing for Susan Boyle on ITV’s Paul O’Grady Show.
Sam was the drummer of one of Brighton’s hot rising acts “Phantom Runners” playing 4 UK tours, a European tour and also participated in multiple recording sessions. Whilst doing this Sam is studying a Degree in Professional Musicianship (Drums) receiving tuition from one of Brighton’s finest drum tutors Pat Garvy.
Following a successful stint with team Amps&Decks, Sam is midway through a club residency with Sintillate, Marbella. Sam’s goal is to progress from being a top club and session percussionist to playing percussion on the world stage!
